Types of Articles

Authors can submit any one of the following types of articles to be published in Scienxt Journals: 

Research Articles:
A research article reports original research in the lab environment and assesses its contribution to the body of knowledge in a given discipline. Research articles can also be outcome of field experience that requires documentation which follows set of procedure. These manuscripts/articles are generally research findings with quality content and original illustrations and mathematical equations. Research article must follow prerequisite guidelines. 

Review Articles: 
When an author searches from various sources or articles and summarize them into a particular topic it is considered as review article. Review articles are considered as secondary research literature as they summarize previously published research article.  Here, authors do not analyse new reports and facts. It is a kind of search over the particular topic irrespective of own experimental findings.  Review articles are also called survey articles or overview articles.

Methodology Articles:
Research is a lengthy process with many challenges. With fast changing technology, the existing needs to be regularly updated by incorporating advances in existing methods, tests or procedures. Methodology articles are based on such well tested research. The methodology described in the article may be completely new or may offer a better version of existing method.

 Short Communications:
A researcher can publish a short communication paper if they are working on a topic and discover results that are of exceptional interest and something significant in nature. Short communications do not follow typical research article guidelines but will be passed through review process. They are concise and this is done to ensure that a researcher first to report this feature. As the name suggest the short communications should not be of more than 2500 words.

 Trends Articles:
Articles discussing recent advances in brief description are considered Trends articles. Trends articles convey to the reader or highlights directions for research or practice in the area including emerging concepts. Trends articles are designed to abridge latest ideas, recent developments and key results within a discipline.  The article may include figures or tables and should not be of more than 1000 words.

Case Study:
Case Study is also called case reports. A case study is a method of intensive, systematic analysis and a specific research design for examining a problem of a single unit such as a person, a group, an event or a situation in stipulated time.  Researchers undertake case studies to understand a particular instance or things used or analysed in order to illustrate a thesis or principle. Case studies help to conclude key issues and results that help predict future trends, throw light on previously hidden issues that can be applied to practice and provide a means for understanding an important research problem with greater clarity. The length of the case study should be within only 500 to 1,500 words.

 Abstracts Articles:
An abstract article is brief a description of the research article, review article, thesis, conference proceeding or analysis of a particular research or subject work. It provides general information to readers about research work conducted by self or others. Abstract article helps spread and familiarize the research work among relevant work community.

A monograph is a comprehensive work of a single specialized topic, aspect or subject. Usually Monographs are written by a single author. It could a scholarly essay dealing with some unsolved problems and may provide detained explanation of some research papers or essay and may be released in the manner of a book or journal article. It is by definition a single document even of 10000 words that forms a complete text in itself. 

Research Reports:
Research Reports are evidence based research documents. The research may be on an item, process or behavior and widely used in case studies.
